It is noted that the idea of introducing and increasing duties has found support in the Ministry of Digital Development, but the Ministry of Economy "is still looking at it with skepticism".

The Ministry of Industry and Trade confirmed that the ministry, together with other interested departments, is considering the proposal of Aquarius and KEAZ to change import duties. For example, Aquarius produces desktop computers, laptops and tablets, servers and storage systems, and Yadro produces computer equipment, planning to enter the consumer electronics market.
