Rostec increased the volume of 3D printing of parts for aircraft engines by almost three times

The Center for Additive Technologies (TsAT) of the Rostec State Corporation in 2022 increased the production of products using the 3D printing method by 179%, or 2.8 times. This was announced by Vladislav Kochkurov, General Director of the CAT, during an industry forum in Moscow. The "grown" products have a lower weight while maintaining the necessary strength characteristics and are used, in particular, in new aircraft engines PD-14 and PD-8.

Representatives of the State Corporations Rostec, Rosatom, Roscosmos, heads of the largest industrial enterprises, leading scientists and developers take part in the fourth Leader Forum: Additive Technologies - Expanding Horizons. The main topic of the event was the technological development of the country in the new geopolitical conditions.
